If there is a hotel like that existing nowadays, I wouldn’t dare check in and mingle with Dracula, I need to learn bleh bleh first LOL.
Hotel Transylvania is a movie about father and daughter relationship. I watched this a few weeks after I have seen Brave and I was like, why most movies are all about daughters? How about sons? Then I remembered Nemo! That’s a father son movie.. OK enough of that, let’s move on to the movie, shall we?
It’s a 3D computer-animated comedy film focusing on Dracula, the owner of Hotel Transylvania and his daughter Mavis. As Mavis turns 118, her father threw a party for her inviting all the monsters you can think of (Frankenstien’s monster, the mummy, werewolf family and a lot more). Zombies and witches are the hotels manpower, from construction to house cleaning. Aside from the party, Dracula finally allowed Mavis to go out and see the world, starting with the little village past the cemetery. Dracula has been telling his daughter how bad humans are and it was proven when Mavis went up to the little village and “people” wants to burn her. It turns, the scenario was a set up.
All things are going as planned but when a 21 year old traveler stumbled in the hotel, Dracula losses it and he must do everything he can to vanish the human while keeping their world a secret. It would have been easier if not for his daughter liking the human.
I will not give a spoiler as the ending is really cute and you really must watch it. But overall, the animation is flawless and the soundtrack is cool too! Adam Sandler did it again!
